Am I wrong to be mad for cleaning up after people older than me?

I'm 16 and I have 2 older sisters that live with me (24 and 21) and I clean absolutely everything in the house. My mom does the Laundry and I do the dishes and cleaning . Anyways, they're complete slobs. they leave plates everywhere, won't put their shoes on the rack even though it takes 2 Seconds and won't put dishes in the dishwasher even when it's sitting open: half full. they leave their makeup all over the counter and laundry all over the place. every once in awhile when I have alot of homework I'll ask them to empty the dishwasher or clean the bathroom (which includes picking up laundry and cleaning the counter; nothing more) and I get yelled at because they have jobs... I agree that I am too obbsessed with the cleaning but it's EMBARASSING to have people over in the mess! I only ask them to do stuff like once a week and they get mad because I clean too much (because I put their makeup bags and hairspray away) and they think its so much work to get it back out when they need it. anyways, now my mom gets mad too and threatens to take me to the hospital to get tested for OCD . they think I'm crazy

I don't think you're crazy! I think you just like things neat and clean! I like my home to be always neat! You're not wrong and there's nothing bad about being neat! At 24 and 21, they should have jobs and live on their own!

No, it's not wrong to be mad at them. If they get mad at you for cleaning and start on about how they have jobs and that they are adults, just tell them to start acting like adults, and pick up their crap.

No, it is not wrong to be mad, you are just a clean and organized person. Try and deal with other stuff for a few days and let them soak in the grime. Don't clean for them or handle their stuff maybe just maybe they will start cleaning or at least understanding you a little better. Once they start begging you to clean up, charge them for it.

You have a job too, it's going to school and getting an education so that when you're 21 or 24 you're not still living at home. Anyway, have you talked to your mom about this? It's really up to her to have them do their share of the housework.

Well I'm getting a part time job soon and I'll still have to clean for them

Then I think you should sit down with your mother and talk this over. Tell her exactly how you feel and ask if she would assign them chores that they are responsible for. Schoolshould be your first priority right now and if you're going to be working too it would be too much on your plate to have to clean up after them...GOOD LUCK

you're not crazy at all dude , it's your right to get mad because you're not their mob O.o just let them sock in their own mess and see what will happen there ._. they are adults so they should clean behind them . not to leave everything everywhere like an animal O.o

Don't pick up after them anymore. Don't load their dishes. It's your moms fault they're slobs and are undisciplined.
