Are there concerts where you can't bring a camera?

Like in a large concert, are there any with rules that you can't take in a nice camera? my friend says if I take mine to a Taylor swift concert they might take it away, but I've never heard of anyone doing that in my life...

Yes, that does happen at some venues and with some artists. Their works are proprietary and they want to make sure THEY are the ones who release any and all images and recordings of their works.

Call the venue before you go and ask what the photography policy is.

Yes, at large concerts than can take your camera. But they won't take your phone. When i went to a Stone Sour concert security was taking 5 disposable cameras from a couple ladies. Better to just take a iPhone that takes good pics.

a lot of musicians have that rule. it's to keep up their reputation. if someone took a pic and it might not be the prettiest, it would kind of deminish the musicians reputation.

I remember going to concerts back in the days before cellphones and we had to sneak in cameras, but these days every phone has a camera.
