My PS3 cannot read the disc. What should I do ?

So I insert my Battlefield 3 disc in my PS3 and it cannot read it. The Disc is 100% in mint condition no scratches. Nothing is popping up no error message or anything. What can I do ? Is there a way I can fix this without sending it to Sony ?

Try to fix it yourself first. Search model plus "repair guide" on any search engine. For the optical drive, there are websites that sell all the replacement parts, one of the bigger ones is http://portatronics.com. Then do it yourself, or better ask a friend who has done a similar repair before.

Rub the disc on your shirt(if smooth) and blow on it and blow the disc inserter too.

Eject it and inject it over and over again until it works nd if it doesn't pound on the console with ur fist. Make sure when u pound it the disk doesn't get laser burnt

The disc is fine no scratches on it. I think it's the lenses or something.
