Is there any way I can help my friend?

One of my best long-time friends has watched both her older sister go through awful situations, including self-harm, suicide, depression, and moving out at only 16. She's really afraid that she has or will develop some sort of mental illness/the same thing will happen to her. She has already tried cutting, but stopped b/c she didn't want the scars to last. But she says it's very addicting. I want to help, but what can I do? She doesn't want to tell her parents about her worries because they're in so much distress already. Is there some sort of clinic she can go to that she doesn't have to tell her parents about, or get guidance at? I'm really worried for her, what can I do?

Side note, I put this in teen relationships, but I actually have no idea what that really means, just that we're both teens. So, sorry if it's in the wrong category.

The only thing you can do and should do is tell her parents.

Look online there are certain phone numbers you can call that gives you professional help instantly tell her parents. There are also clubs you can join to learn how to help a victim of self harm.
