Singing Question. Please read Description

I think i am a good singer.. But i am overweight.. is it weird? I have never seen a fat singer... It would be very difficult for me to actually sing to someone..

It seems all opera singers are overweight.
Mamma Cass had one of the greatest pop voices of my time.
I can't sing very well but better than when I was skinny.
Don't really think it matters love.
If you can sing to yourself in front of a mirror you can sing in front of people.
Practice it.
Then sing in front of supporting friends and family.
Close your eyes and belt it out!
As per nightowls' great advice,
Easy crunches.
Sit in a comfortable chair or on the bed, etc,...
Lean back as far as you can comfortably.
Slowly pull yourself up to a sitting position and relax.
Repeat for as long as you can.
Your endurance will improve with practice.
Remember to breathe deeply 'in' as you go back and 'out' as you go forward.
Your back should not be straining.
And use the stomach muscles to pull you forward.
It works good and fast with little strain.
Tell us when you have a song on YouTube!
You don't have to be in front of the camera to do it.
Just have a nice picture on the video.

Brandon, people will always make fun of others for their looks even when they are gorgeous!
Learn how precious you are in Jesus' eyes and you will not have these insecurities troubling you so much.

The only way your weight will affect your singing is if you have trouble controlling your diaphram. I have noticed that I have better management of my overall singing experience when I am skinnier (not as out-of-breath) and more able to flex my stomach muscles which give you a better range. As far as singing in front of people; you just have to do it. It is hard but you have to make up your mind if it is something that you want to do or if you are too scared. My knees knocked for over 7 years and I'm still not completely comfortable doing so, but it is what I love the most so i just do it. And there are plenty of bigger singers out there; that's the least of your worries. Concentrate on getting your stomach muscles in better shape and the rest will fall into place.

Think of the Blues Brothers, one of them was overweight (some what). Even though it was just a movie based on a popular Saturday Night Live sketch, the two of them really can sing good. Even performed live. So I'm sure you'll be fine
