Why is my earring hole bleeding?

I just got my ears pierced 6 weeks ago, and yesterday i took out my studs and immediately put in a new pair of sterling silver studs for the first time. Yesterday while taking out my earrings and putting in my new pair everything was fine, the earrings went in really easily, and I didnt feel any pain at all. Today I went to take out my silver earrings, which I had been twisting in my ear all day. When I went to put in another pair of studs, I couln't get one earring through the hole! I ended up pushing really hard to get it in, but in the process it began to bleed. I don't think I have an infection because it does not hurt, and there is no pus or anything. I am just wondering about the blood, and what I should do. And also about how this was caused, I tried to find the answer online, and I found that it could have started closing up, but I never had my earrings out, and I had been twisting them all day. Please tell me what I should do! Thanks!!

You just had your ears pierced and your ears could still be very sensitive. What you read is probably correct, the hole may have gotten irritated and started to heal, or close, and when you pushed the earring through it caused the bleeding. If it's just a little bit of blood and there is no further bleeding, I would put the studs back in that were used to pierce your ears. Keep the holes clean and don't change the earrings for another couple of weeks. You may just have sensitive ears. I can't wear anything but real gold in my ears or they get very irritated. If it persists, you may want to ask your doctor.

You probably broke a tiny vain or a little bit of akin since you where twisting it and you shoved the stud in your ear. You should never twist your ratings or above them in your war espeshily since you just got the pierced. Try leaving them out for a bit

this happened to me too....... it got infected after it was healed and the person piercer said that my ear was too thick for my ear and my didn't have room to breath and didn't heal correctly because i touched it too much. She said not to turn it because the earring didn't adjust to my ear. Hope this helped :)

If you get them pierced again go to Pagoda in the mall they have long post earrings

I think you should just continue cleaning them three times a day to disinfect. My ear bled too, and there was no pus or anything, and I just put the disinfecting solution by using a cotton ball and the bleeding nearly stopped. I'm going to continue cleaning, for I do not believe it is an infection.
