I struggle with not eating enough. if i don't eat for a day, my appetite goes down to nothing, and i feel sick from low blood sugar.
work on building up your appetite, stretch your stomach. this is what works for me. it takes 4-8 hours though. you gotta stick to it.
Start small. Slowly increase the amount of food you are eating. Spend an hour eating crackers (goldfish, wheat thins), then try to have a small snack (yogurt). after an hour try to have a bigger snack or small meal (toast).Then wait an hour and try to have a regular serving size food (2 slices of pizza, macaroni, grilled cheese). wait 2 hours and then try to eat a full meal, which is about 3-4 servings of food. (hot dog, bun, baked beans, watermelon, milk). wait about 2-4 hours and try to have another big meal, (hamburger, salad, juice).
Once you are able to handle eating regular meals, eat every 3-4 hours, and have 5 meals a day. About 400-500 calorie meals if you are counting.
