Could I replace the driver's seat of my car with that from another car?

I have a 2011 Kia Forte with a manually adjustable driver's seat and side torso airbag. I love the car but with my idiopathic scoliosis, the taught cloth driver's seat with rather aggressive bolsters and little give to the cushions is very hard on my back. I was wondering how difficult it would be to swap in a seat from, say, a Kia Amanti, which has a much more luxurious and comfortable seat as compared to my Forte's.

yes, of course you can switch your seat with another one you would prefer, but there are so many different vehicles and styles, etc... I can not tell you exactly how difficult it would be without comparing and measuring both makes and models, (which is the first thing i would do before making a choice on the new seat you decide on putting in) but generally seats just bolt in to the floor with 4 bolts and the pattern will most likely be different, but you could easily drill new holes and cover old ones if necassary but also keep in mind if you go from all mechanical to an electrical seat you will also have to properly supply power to new seat for it to work properly. over all shouldn't be that difficult to switch as long as you make sure the seat will fit! just measure the seat heighth, width, and of course the frame of the seat... you could also possibly make brackets to fasten new seat to your car so you don't have to drill or fill holes in the floor.
