good will is where I got all of my dresses and they were better quality and cheaper.... plus, no one else had a dress like mine...so it was awesome... one year i bought from ross and two other girls had the same dress...lame sauce.... or if you find a cinderellas closet near where you live...those are the best hands down!!!
You can't get an ACTUAL homecoming dress for $50 or less. homecoming dresses cost $100-$250. My sister was convinced that she could get one for $50 as well. She ended up getting one for $225. $50 is an unreasonable price to be looking for a nice dress for, unless you have a very large coupon. If you do end up getting a dress for $100-$250, then make sure its a dress you LOVE and that you can wear it for more than just this one occasion. You definitely don't want to waste your money on a dress you are only going to wear once. Good luck finding this amazing dress, and have fun at your homecoming dance!

I agree with everyone's answers, but also, Macy's, Dillard's, Nordstrom, Von Maur, Herbergers, JC Penney's and Kohls Department stores and other stores such as TJ Maxx, Ross and Marshalls, Nordstrom Rack, are also great places to find some awesome brands, at really great prices! :-) Many have excellent sales, coupons and specials that are worth watching! I encourage you to do this...every other day or daily, if you have time... look online at all of the stores mentioned by me and others. And call them! Make a list of the stores, their websites and phone #'s. It may take 30 min.- of your time, but it's worth it! See if they have any online purchase specials. Also, look for coupons on their websites and their ads for upcoming sales and ask them if/when you call them if they can tell you when they will be having sales. Sometimes they know in advance and can and will tell you. Sometimes they won't. :-) It's worth the time, since this is such a special event. ALSO, the bridal shops! They often have bridesmaid dresses, too, that can work well for a Homecoming dress! They typically have sale racks, too!
someone took me on a mexican cruise that required formal and semi formal dresses.. i felt like cinderella cause i had nothing like that to wear. i know this sounds bad/uncool but went to second hand/consignment stores. the dresses there have been worn once maybe twice and then people sell them. there are a lot of beautiful dresses/gowns there that would have cost hundreds of dollars but you ll pay under fifty in most cases. so many gowns in many styles. people will think you spent a fortune. (no one need know where you got it lol).
Lulus has really nice dresses, also more ideas to select from is Forever 21, Mabye try looking for dresses on Wanelo! They have everything I love on there and you can find anything and theres some stuff that has dresses under 50$ too!! Hope this helped!
