What's there to help with? If they say no dating then it's no dating, it's a pretty simple rule to follow.

listen to your parents about "dating" but get to know him better in school. if he goes to your school. Become friends and maybe if yall become best friends and you ask your parents if theyre willing to meet him, they will be more comfortable about yall going together.

The easiest way to find out if a guy likes you is to just flat-out ask him. If he does like you back, then you have three options:
1) Explain the situation to your parents and ask them if they'll make an exception and let you date him now.
2) Date him now and keep it a secret from your parents until you're 15 (I wouldn't necessarily recommend this one but you gotta do what you gotta do).
3) Wait until you're 15, and then ask him to go out with you.
Good luck! :)

If you want to tell your parents that you'll be away to dating, say "I'll be shopping/I am going to my friend's house/I want to go around or I'll be eating out today/tonight".

Then don't date till you're 15... 13 seems a little young to be dating

Even then too young. 3-10 teens get pregnant. 1.2 million abortions last year just in US. 18% was 18 and younger. Out of that 18% ,11% was 15 and younger. My daughters can date when they move out. the 18% = 168,000 deaths. Now, you want to talk divorce. % of people who make it if they get together before 25 is 8%. You wait till 25, less money problems, more educated cause you finish college, the person you chose at 25 won't be the same as the "boy" you choose at 15. I can go on, I have 3 girls of my own and I fill them with facts, and what is realistic. None of this crap, you can't help who you love. No, my girls are not bringing home some punk. This one true love, no. You wait till you are older your options, everything will be better. YOU CAN BE A STATISTIC. YOU HAVE THE OPTION< TO CHOOSE WHAT PATH YOU WANT!. My advise, you have few more years to be kid, have your whole life to be an adult. "Boys", are just that at your age.

while I agree that they *should* wait history shows that it is fantasy to believe there is any way we can convince them *all* to do so. Your facts are correct but you fail to mention that teen birth rates are dropping and in fact are lower than they were even in the 70's. While I don't disagree that we should encourage teens to wait we also need to add in that IF you are not going to do so, make certain you are protected both from pregnancy and from STD's.

The best way to make sure of that is to teach abstinence. Respect themselves. I give my kids all the facts. I also have statistics of 1/3 people who have multiple partners has a std. Sexual promiscuity. I just didn't think that was good, i wouldn't want anyone to tell my kid it's okay. I would rather promote abstinence.

Your parents are right. Teens relationships are filled with DRAMA. One thing leads to another and then you have "Teen mom" on MTV. Teens should stay in school and have a friend circle. That's pretty much it.
