-Get weapons. -Get food. -Get medications or medicine. -Shoot everyone I hate.
Other than everything I had mentioned, there will never be a zombie apocalypse. A lot of people is confusing zombies with cannibals. The only thing that can happen, is a cannibal apocalypse, but everyone would have to be willing to take bath salts.

Probably just fine since a zombie attack wouldn't last that long. It would be just like any other catastrophic event like hurricanes or earth quakes. It would cause a few days worth of hell but in the end would just be remembered the same way hurricane Katrina was. Our military is to strong and convenient for such events as well as the National Guard so I doubt a zombie attack could spread as far as they do in the movies. Not to mention it would be incredibly quarantined. Entire states would be quarantined in order to keep the infestation to a minimum. At the worst, an attack like this wouldn't be like "I am Legend' or "Evil Dead" but more like a modern Dust Bowl or Pompei, except with zombies instead of natural causes. I think in the end I would be fine, I'd just be relocated just like in any natural disaster.
I would grab my trusty Katana, strap my dual short swords to my back, and go wreak havoc on those zombie ranks, perhaps one of the zombies would be a worthy opponent for me, since I can't seem to find a living person up to the task.
I'd go to atlanta, find out it is overrun, get in with a group of people, one night we will get attacked and we flee. Then, my son gets shot and we join a new group on a farm. Then the farm is overrun and we take over a prison but we run into a militant-style town that tries to kill us and a few of our group members die in the fighting. Wait.... I lapsed into the Walking Dead...
