A set of golf clubs that costs $600 are on sell for 40% of the regular price. What is the sale price of the clubs?

And how'd you get that?

Report as

The set of clubs would cost 360$ You take the 600$ and multiply it by the discount, which is 40% or .40 and that would give you 240$. Then you subtract the 240$ from the original price, giving you the discount price :)
Anyone correct me if I'm wrong!

deduct 40% of 600 which will be 240 from 600, the remaining 360 will be the sale price
