How do I cope with this situation? (read details)

so I recently found out that my parents are divorcing and I am moving across the country. i am leaving my school and friends and dad, all I have ever known. plus, I have to get rid of my dog and that is really hard for me. oh and one last detail, my dad has a girlfriend and that is also a major factor in my sadness. i don't know how to deal with the loss or changes I just need HELP, some advice, something. btw I am 14 so...

ok...take a deep breath. ............yep...lots of changes....change can be good...your mom wants to start over....you can too...you just have to embrace that idea....ask dad to take the dog...at least when you visit or skype you can see him or her....make it a point to tell dad that with all the changes, all of which are not of your choosing, the least he could do is take your dog for you so you don't have to lose that as well...I think thats a darn good argument ....if not...make sure you give it to someone you know who will keep you updated on how its doing....send you pics...skype with you ect... daddys girlfriend is not a threat...you are his child...you get 1st place...no questions asked....you always win....therefore it is to her advantage for you to like her....not the other way around......honey...its going to be ok....attitude is the key to getting through this. don't forget, you have a voice..use it!!
