golf balls don't have a life expectancy because they're inanimate objects, they don't live

When you notice your loosing yardage on your drives they are dead. To those that don't know life expectancy of a golf ball is this. A golf ball compresses each time its struck. Too many strikes and the effectiveness of the core is lessened. A golf ball can only be struck so many fines before it needs replaced. How hard you strike it is a variable so the life expectancy of a golf ball is different for different people.
