What do music art and architecture of the baroque period have in common?

Everything was embellished to the max. Music was very complex and embellished with flourishes. Architecture also, and art and sculpture tended to ape the fashions of the day. Of course, all of this concerned the wealthy. The world of the poor and working man was something else all together.
