Is coconut fattening?
i just made macaroons and i want to know how much fat is in coconut.
The average coconut contains almost twice the amount of the daily allowance of fat and over 1400 calories.
It is fattening (IF you cook it, or add to it (oil, or butter)) but just coconut is OK. It has the 'good' fat that your body needs.
If you eat too much of it, yes. They are a pretty high calorie treat, so I'd only eat one or two.
