Dry mouth help?

every time I brush my teeth, my mouth feels nasty afterward. and it lasts quite a while also. it's almost like there's soap in my mouth and it dries my mouth out and it's very uncomfortable. I've noticed it with basically every type of toothpaste I've tried, is there anything I could do to not make it feel like I'm rubbing soap in my mouth?

I am a nurse. Godzgems is right. You could try the rinse but that's probably gross, too. I'd try Dr. Tom's organic toothpaste or just use peroxide and/or baking
soda.. I know this is horrible but my friend complains of the same thing and then smokes a cigarette (he says he has to because it drives him crazy) He claims the toothpaste scorches his mouth and taste like gourmet iIvory liquid!

Maybe there is something wrong with your gums. Try getting a dental check.

I am a dental hygienist. many people have problems with dry mouth. It may be age or medicine related, or you are sensitive to toothpaste. there is no need to use toothpaste. It is the mechanical action of the bristles wbich cleans the teeth. The rinse for dry mouth is an option to try as noted above.
