have the chain of kindness you have no idea. tell someone how great they are make them feel happy i mean only 10 seconds a day can impact someones life completely ,up for them if they are bullied there are so many kids out there who want to kill themselves because they are being bullied at school
Someone beat me to it. That's great though! That and your awesome question, give me hope, that I wont turn to a Pillar of salt if I glance in my rear-view mirror, next time I leave the city. My answer, agreeing with Tamara & Chrisp. Invite that person who you can look at and know immediately, they are struggling just getting to the lunchroom, instead of running away and never looking back. You can change and even save someones life, just by noticing and acknowledging them. Showing that person, they are worth your time, and not just a useful target, for bullies to practice their punching skills, and horrible, embarrassing comments. I can tell you, with a great deal of experience, that someone being kind when you're at your lowest, someone befriending you, sticking up for you, or just showing that you're not invisible, can mean the difference between staying and running away. It can even mean the difference, between life, and death... Good luck, and keep that kindness that you clearly carry in your heart. It can change the world.
1) Offer homework help and afterschool tutoring sessions (if possible for you) 2) Volunteer to help students and staff if they need help on something 3) Pick up any trash you see on the floor 4)Get involved with your peers, and don't tolerate bullying. 5) Be willing to sit with different people at lunch, and compliment others.
complement people whether you know them well or not mark your right hand every time you say or do something good (with a washable pen) and mark your left every time you say something negative you'll be surprised at how easy it is to be kind when you hold yourself accountable
Compliments - sincere compliments, not fake crap. Great hair? Tell that person. Funny person? Tell them. Gentle vibrations, calming influence? Tell them, thank them.// We all pass each other and think all these things to ourselves and never mention how great that other person is!!
Just say hi to new people and smile =) Compliment people too but not in such a manner that it's obvious... If you truly like what someone did/said/is wearing or just have some positive opinion about them always share it. It really makes a big difference to people, especially if you're really quiet =p
wow! this is a good idea to do esp in high school.
-smile at someone. -compliment someone. -see the loner sitting by themselves? no matter how "strange" they are invite them to your table. -if you see someone with a zipper, button, or any type of malfunction, let them know -strike up a random conversation when you see someone looking shy and helpless.
1. Help the janitors *they always do things for you, why not you do things for them 2. Help anyone getting bullied 3. Try complimenting a teacher, or janitor you think is having a bad day. 4. By one of your friends something if they don't have money.
