Start your day with a 'good carb' breakfast to get your metabolism started like oatmeal. Have a snack at least every 3 hours to keep the fuel burning, preferably an apple or banana. And make sure to drink a lot of water. Stay away from energy drinks; the come down will make you feel super sluggish.
Drink lots of water. I play softball, and before big tournaments in hot heat, or any weather I drink loads of water starting the day before. If you drink water during, and before, your body will defiantly be energized and you will feel pumped up, healthy, and defiantly not tired.
