Everything in my refrigerator freezer is covered with frost, What's wrong? It's a GE bought July 2012.

The rubber gasket on your freezer door may not be sealing properly. Warm air is getting inside, mixing w/ the cold air & causing frost. I had this problem recently, too. Luckily all I had to do was re-hang the freezer door & tighten the hinge screws better. (The freezer door was hanging slightly crooked which allowed a small air gap between the rubber gasket & compartment frame.)

is it self defrosting. Surprisingly some are still not to make them cheaper. Empty, turn off use a hair dryer to remove ice. You may have not gotten it closed all the way at some point.
