How do I deal with downstairs neighbours who are being ridiculous about noise?
I really do not know what to do anymore. My roommate and I moved in to our new apartment, and the day after, at noon, a banging came from the floor below. At noon. When my roommate and I were sitting on the couch reading. Later that afternoon, our downstairs neighbour came up and introduced herself, saying that we were "walking too loud" and that we were very noisy during our move in. Neither one of us are loud, in fact both of us often go out of our way to try to be quiet out of respect for our fellow neighbours. Throughout the last couple weeks, things have gotten ridiculous. While doing dishes at 7:45 PM, we were banged at. At 8:25 while watching TV, my roommate's phone fell off the couch and hit the floor. Once again we were met with the infamous broom. TV's volume at 12%? More banging. After putting up with this harassment for two weeks, Attempts to talk were met with doors slammed in my face and hostility towards me while I try to remain professional and respectful. I've talked to my landlord, and have contacted the condo board. I don't know what to do. Please help!
