Could everyone just stop fighting? It cant be coincidence if it happens every single time. But prayer does a lot more than that. But bigger petitions in prayer require more spirituality. That s why two people praying for the same are heard more than one. And the longer a person prays the more spiritual. And to ask God for something that we can do is a very big petition. Aside of that, faith without action is dead, says the Bible. So aside of praying, we must do what God wants.

Evolution is one thing. And there are two things: 1. same as one can see the growth of a plant in a clip instead of waiting years staring at plants as it grows, same way one can see millions of years pass in six days, in a vision. However, there s no proof that humans came from evolution. And also, life cannot begin on its own. Easier to throw nanobot pieces in the ocean and hope to get an actual nanobot.

Because we have free will, and not all of us are good people. Even good people make bad decisions from time to time, and if a god set the world in motion perhaps he has chosen not to interfere for a reason. It doesn't have to be a mysterious reason or even a good reason. If a god did set this whole thing in motion, I'd hope there was a plan, but I'll just have to wait and see.

Evil and sin are the absence of God in people's hearts. Sometimes, god will allow people to die so that they can be in heaven instead of hsving horrible memories and injurys (think mercy kill). People can choose to accept gods plan (mostly accept anyway) will have eternal life in heaven. Those who deny God's plan or existance will be taken by sin and the devil, but will always have the chance to repent. God is a god that loves his people, even when they don't love him. If you feel swayed in your faith, try joining small groups in your church. Remember, just because you go to church, doesn't make you a christian. Spread the good word, and sin will flee from all who do.

The only reasonable and logical answer is that there is no god. You could answer "because there is free will" but then the whole point of prayer goes out the window (isn't the whole point of prayer to get god to do things for you and, well, intervene?) Christians are supposed to believe in "divine intervention" yet they claim to only believe so when good things happen. If you get in a car crash and survive, you thank god. But you never wonder why he couldn't have just prevented the entire accident in the first place. And if you're raped, I guess god wasn't around at the time. If he was around and did nothing, then he's a pretty lame god. There are also many other disasters that could be prevented without affecting free will. For instance, preventing an earthquake in CA or tornado in Kansas would not abridge anyone's freedoms, yet they happen anyway.

Can a God of love also be a God of wrath Of course. All loving persons are sometimes filled with wrath precisely because of their love. What kind of a God would not be angry at injustice and evil.

We must remember that God is God! He controls all of life and death, even our own. Add to that the sinful nature of us all, God owes us NOTHING! It is a miracle that God spares any of us. And just because we finite people cannot understand or think of a good reason why God does something, does not mean that there is not a good reason.

It is just a bunch of animals fighting for the survival came here by unconscious forces . So , if you are to blame anyone , blame mother nature who blessed you with conscious and gave you the ability to feel what is good and bad . That being said , there is no relation between the existence of God and evil .

In his time their will be a new heaven and a new earth and people want be evil anymore.=========================== For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying. (Isaiah 65:17-19 KJV)================================And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. (Revelation 21:1-5 KJV)

If God is not real, why are people protected every day from robbery, rape, murder, etc.? If God is not real, why are there happy marriages, obedient children, honest employees, etc.?

One point being...You have no proof that God has not and is not protecting you this very day from any number of dangers. Another point...if you are going to blame God for evil, are you going to credit Him for good?

The point being...the existence of good and evil do not disprove the existence of God. If anything, it proves God. Without God, moral absolutes are a joke and you have no right to judge someone who shoots up a school or an office.

Taking your 'logic' to its ultimate conclusion...God should get rid of all evil...as long as He stops when He gets to your doorstep. The whole presumption ignores the nature of God, the nature of man, the nature of evil...as well as God's plan for redemption and justice.

The main point...your presumption is a logical fallacy at best. At worst, it claims to know better than God. Those who scorn their Maker are treading on dangerous ground, which proves God is patient, kind, merciful...or He would do to them what you suggest in your own question.

Asking "Why doesn't God stop evil?" really and truly amounts to, "Why doesn't God turn all humans into a mindless zombies?" God doesn't do evil; people do. And God doesn't stop people from doing evil, because doing so would mean violating their free will, which God won't do out of his deep and abiding love for us. God's love for us means we're free to do whatever we want, evil included. That evil exists doesn't prove that God is not benevolent. It proves just how benevolent
he is .

Why doesn't god create humans that simply have no desire to sin? And how is it that sin does not exist in heaven? I want a logical explanation, not scripture.
Report as
Sin will not be in heaven, it will be done away with. When we become Christians, the Holy Spirit is in us and we are no longer a slave to sin, and we have the power to resist sin in our lives. As we allow the Spirit to move in our lives we loose the desire to sin, That is the way God choose to do it.
Report as
If god can create a heaven where sin doesn't exist AND free will isn't compromised, why can't he create an earth in which sin does not exist AND there is free will?
You're not making sense. You said "when we become christians" we suddenly have less desire to sin, or are more able to control ourselves. Even though there is no basis to your claims that christians have more self control than non christians. Most christians would beg to differ that they lose the desire to sin. Biggest example is sex before marriage - christians desire that just as much as any other human because they are still HUMANS and the religion you follow cannot affect biology.

Applying Godly discipline to our lives may sound unpopular in this laissez faire age we live in?.. but it matters. Applying discipline has to start with the mind for the very obvious reason that the things we do are determined by the things we think.

We are all thinking, all the time, whether we are Christians or not. Try thinking about nothing for 10 seconds and you?ll know what I mean. But a standard Christian assumption is that if we are Christians we automatically think Christianly. It may be a shock to realise that we don?t. There is nothing automatic about it. Harry Blamires puts it quite succinctly: ?While Christians may worship and pray as Christians, they do not think as Christians?.

Take our behaviour for example: People do not get rid of all bad habits overnight when they become Christians. Nor too do we suddenly get rid of all bad thinking when we trust Christ. In fact at the point we trust Christ a labour intensive job starts. All the worldly thinking we have had for so long needs to be actively rooted out and replaced with Christian thinking.

When a person becomes a Christian they have began a battle to think Christianly. The problem is that if we have never really considered our minds a battleground, we won?t have begun to fight.

Christians, as you can see, just claim that evil is necessary byproduct of free will. Two problems with this claim however:

(1) they claim there will be no sin or evil in heaven, yet humans will still have free will there. Which means allegedly "god" is capable of creating an environment where free will and lack of evil exist simultaneously, yet didn't do so on Earth. Which is pretty malicious.

(2) to claim that "god" HAD TO allow evil to give humans free will negates omnipotence. If a deity were truly omnipotent, it would be perfectly capable of creating humans with the ability to choose "sin" and evil but no desire to, for example. Of course, the original core tale of this whole venture, the Adam and Eve myth, shows their "god" is either not omnipotent or is malicious in the first place.

Report as
1) When someone has seen evil and turns away from it, then they are given an environment which there will be a lack of evil.

2) I don't believe God did create evil. Evil is not a "thing", rather, it is a lack of a thing, good. Therefore, when God wanted to give humanity an option to turn away from him, the turning away was automatically evil, because a lack of good is evil.
Report as
(1) bunk. You Christians claim everyone sins. Yet to claim sin is not possible in heaven would indeed remove free will. And if it is the "environment", you have failed to demonstrate the absurdity of why this environment does not exist on Earth. You are also forgetting that by Christians' own claims, whether someone is a good person has nothing to do with whether people "go to heaven".

(2) Again, this is nonsense considering the Christian claims that the only thing that gets you into heaven is belief in "Jesus", and that "god" is omniscient. Putting a human through a "test" when god allegedly already knows the outcome just illustrates my point of a malicious nature.

MsStina, read my comment again. If Geek is going to use the Bible as his weapon, Geek should learn to read it. There are mischaracterizations of the nature of God, the nature of man and the nature of sin. I looked again find not a single Biblical reference to support made by you or Geek; yet Geek made some serious charges, in addition to making false and incomplete assumptions about how a person is 'saved.'

So, answer one question. Are we going to let Scripture speak for itself about these things? If not, no need to keep going.
And btw, all this appears to be is 'sour grapes' at Who is in charge. The original question implies that evil proves God does not exist. How? Geek made up some 'if...then' statements that he did not and can not support as true. He certainly did not use the Bible factually or honestly.
Report as
I think geek is a woman, if I am not mistaking, and the problem of evil has been addressed a thousand times for anyone who really cares to understand it.

"First, no atheist has ever been able to show a logical inconsistency between the propositions "God exists" and "Evil exists." They tried, but no one has ever been able to show that those two are contradictory. In fact, you can actually show that they are consistent by adding a third proposition, namely, "God has morally sufficient reasons to permit evil." As long as that third proposition is even possibly true, it shows that God's existence and evil's existence are logically compatible. The atheist seems to assume that if God has morally sufficient reasons for permitting evil, we have to be privy to them. But there's absolutely no reason to think that that is true.

In fact, secondly, evil is actually proof that God exists. My argument would go like this:

1. If God does not exist, objective moral values do not exist. (Dr. Pigliucci agrees.)

2. Evil exists.

3. Therefore, objective values exist. (Some things are really evil.)

4. Therefore, God exists.

And thus evil only calls into question God's existence on a superficial level. On a deeper philosophical level evil actually demonstrates the existence of God because evil as such could not exist without God."

-William Craig

Lersion - The Bible is all those things if you look at it objectively.

Rich - These are basic concepts of christianity that don't really require scriptural reference, i.e. there is sin HERE but not in heaven, there is free will both here AND in heaven, and god is omnipotent. Her "if then" statements were based on these basic concepts and I haven't seen anyone on this thread contradict them.

Ex - I believe Geek just showed that the two are contradictory. If this god is how you all describe him to be, if he is a good natured god and an all powerful one too, then he should be able to create a world for us where there is NO evil but our free will is not compromised. In fact, that's what heaven is supposed to be. A world where sin is nonexistant, yet our free will remains in tact. This means that god CAN create such a world, but chooses not to, which contradicts the idea that god is good.
Moral values have existed longer than your religion.
Report as
1) Prove it.
2) We already answered that.
Report as
MsStina- Did you even read the premises I have listed above?

God and the existence of evil is not a problem. In fact, objective morals (which make evident the existence of evil) implies that God must be real, because without God there would be no such thing as evil, nor good, except subjectively.

That is not the case, however.
Report as
MsStina, exactly my point. Christian concepts were selectively used out of context and obviously without all the facts. Leads to false interpretation every time and done regularly by some atheists. But for sake of agreement, the Bible teaches that God exists and created all things. He is eternal, wise, omnipotent, holy, just, righteous, love, merciful among other attributes. The Bible teaches God cannot act outside His own attributes. When angels and mankind were created, they were made as free moral agents. The potential for evil, yes. The potential for good, yes. Malicious, no.

You want to debate 'why', then read Mere Christianity, by C.S. Lewis. There are not enough pages here to discuss the depths of theology and philosophy. One paragraph does it an injustice.

Just because you disagree with the way God decided to make this world is not a problem of belief or unbelief; that is a problem of the will.

Neither myself, or any other person here, is God's defense attorney. As God, He does not need one; in fact, He is my defense attorney. As God, He can do whatever He pleases, within His own attributes. That means He cannot sin, cannot lie, cannot act unloving or unjust. All of His acts are righteous and true.
Report as
I make no claim to understand all of God's thoughts, plans, decisions. To do so would be ridiculous and arrogant. But I do accept what He has revealed about Himself.

"Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!
“For who has known the mind of the Lord,
or who has been his counselor?”
“Or who has given a gift to him
that he might be repaid?”
For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever."

I think I do understand this: God wants heaven populated with those who want to know Him forever. Could He have made us robots from the start? Of course. In His wisdom, He had a better plan. I am sure that there is much more to it than that. Was it risky? I suppose; but love is always a risk. God deemed the result worth the risk. Not that He needed us. But having children who may or may not love me is a huge risk. We chose to have children anyway. I am glad we did.

Because God has blessed us with a free will. It is up to US to decide whether to act upon our temptations that the devil ha set in our minds, or to try to swerve from those ways and be as God wants us to be. I believe God allows this to happen to certain people because he wants the experience to mold and strengthen them into stronger people. Make them even better than what they already were. The fact that there is evil in this world to begin with, is because this world is kind of like a training field for everyone. God tests us to see if we are going to do the right thing, or the wrong thing. That is where the bible and ten commandments come in. Use those as guidelines to help you make the godly decisions. If we accept God into our hearts and try to live like him, we will receive our reward in heaven. If we just do what we want when we wanted to and tossed God aside, or even worse, let the devil trick you into believing he doesn't exist, you will most likely spend all eternity with Satan, and believe me. That is NOT a place you want to go. You will be in excruciating pain, listening to the screams of others, among other horrible things. Doesn't sound fun, does it? I don't understand the reason as to why God does some of the things he does, I'm only 17 for goodness sakes, so hopefully I'll learn more, but the thing is, it's not our job to understand God. It's to trust that he will see us through the hardships, whether the suffering lasts a day, a week, a month, a year, etc. Our job is to be patient, and keep our faith, and we will pass the test. God isn't just going to prove himself. You have to have the faith before you get your proof. Honestly, if I didn't have God, I would probably be a very sad, bitter person. Joyce Meyer explains things so much better than me if none of your answers are good enough for you. Have a nice day! :)

God gives us free will.

as per the bible, He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

if you want to become unjust then continue to be unjust, if you want filthiness then continue to be filthy, if you are righteous then continue to be righteous and holy then continue to be holy, HOWEVER, prepare yourself in the jugment day. God allows you to enjoy your free will on earth but in the judgement day, you will be judged according to what you did.

Revelation 22:11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

it does not mean that there is No God or He does not exist. He just allowing you to believe what you want to believe and do what ever you want to do but be accountable for it and prepare yourself in the judgement day.

It is God's justice.

Every fact that we know of, testifies against the existence of any God. Only those who are blind to facts, and only those who reach conclusions without the assistance of evidence can witness the condition of this world and still believe in the existence of an infinitely wise, good, loving and kind God. The existence of God rests only upon the dreams of the impostor, visions of the ignorant and ravings of the insane. It is impossible to conceive of a more thoroughly despicable, hateful, and tyrannical being, than the god who governs this world. And when I think of all the sufferings of man - of the centuries of suffering, tears, and miseries, I wonder: If a God indeed exists, is it possible for man to forgive this God?

I do not know if a God does or doesn't exist, but if he does, I do ask, what is God doing? Look at the agonies, pains, injustices and woes all over. Is there Godly goodness in all these? What kind of a God sits idly on his throne and allow his enemies to wet their swords in the blood of his innocent friends who loved this God? Why is innocence not a perfect shield? Why does injustice triumph? How can a God see starving babies crawling over the empty breasts of dead mothers for a drop of milk, hear the sobs of desperate fathers trying to quench dying thirst by sucking blood from the dead lips of their darling daughters, and yet remain as pitiless as pestilence? And yet we are told that, God, you see, loves us! If God won't love man in such times, then under what circumstances does God love them? If the condition of this world is as it is, despite God loved us, then I shudder even to ask: If this God had not loved us, what would he have done?

Admitting that a God exist, the question is is he capable of eradicating the evil or does he delight in the miseries of men? Is God able to diminish the sufferings of men, or does God's malice increase by the agonies he inflict upon men? If a being can destroy evil and still does not, should we love him as God or loath him as the devil? Does the suffering and evil of this world prove that he can do anything? If I had infinite power and couldn?t protect my children and had been compelled to let them suffer, why, I?d be ashamed and rather resign from my fatherhood, in fact, any honorable man would!

there are things which God cannot do. He as a God of juctice cannot eradicate evil doers right away. God being the God of Justice cannot do injustices to us whether you are evil or good. if God emmidiately eradicate all those people who sinned againts Him, in the judgement, these evil doers will question the justice of God, they might want to ask, why is it that David was given a chance when he committed sins? why is it that you immediately killed me and end my wickedness? do you realize it? God is allowing wicked people to do evil because when the judgement day came, they will not ask God why they are destined in hell, they, themselves will voluntarily jump into the lake of fire which is the everlasting punishment.

God being a God of justice CANNOT DO ANYTHING INJUSTICES to people and angels. God being a God of justice is the weakness that SATAN and His people are taking advantage of the reason why they are still continously doing evil things.

in God, all things that is happening to His people, like persecutions, tortured etc. and also to those people who are victims of injustices, nothing is negative. ALL THINGS work together for good.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

IT MAY seemed negative in your eyes but God allowed this to happen because there is a better place for those people who experienced injustices here on earth.

they maybe victims of those evil people on earth but it is a great apportunity for the victims to gain the promise of God and that is the everlasting life.

there is a better place for them where there is no more evil and injustice.

the triumphing of the wicked is short, time will come that they will pay the injustices they did on earth.

Job 20:5 That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?

The words "justice" and "goodness" must mean something other than what any sensible man understands as meant in the English language!! My mind is so that the creation and unleashing of an equally eternal and equally powerful 'devil" and the creation of a savage torture chamber as hell for the purpose to eternally deep-fry most of the human race, by an omniscient, omnipotent and omnibenevolent God is an act of perpetual and highest evil in and of itself!! I cannot conceive even of a devil more base and more despicable than the God you worship. I feel that there may be a supernatural deity as the one you tried to palm off above, but this being, if he exist, must be the devil, and definitely not the god.

Does it sound justice to you that innocent babies suffer, sweet girls violated, good women brutalized, honest men enslaved for being in the right? Does the fact that millions of innocent babies suffer in millions of children's hospitals and wards, that that millions of infants die before birth, that little babies are snatched from the mothers breast and sold for a few dollars worth of food seems like justice to you? Does the fact that justice doesn't always triumph, that innocent is not a perfect shield, that the vile always take advantage of the vicarious, that hunger, drought, famine, cyclone, earthquake, flood, volcano cleanse millions of good men, women and babies from the face of earth even when they were praying to God looks like an divine act of justice and good to you? If they do, then I am shocked that you ever claimed to worship an infinitely good, wise, just, merciful, and benevolent God!

Such a god ought to be loathed, not revered; hated, not loved; and denounced, not worshiped. A heaven presided over by such a deity must be lower than the lowest hell! I want no part in such a heaven. And when I read attempts of believers such as your's above, endeavoring to rationalize the sadism of their God, I feel convinced that "the worship of a cruel and mean God makes a cruel and mean man"

and lastly, i want you to read this very carefully to resolve the questions of your heart which i believed you keep for so many years in your life.

let us read,

Ecclesiastes 8:11 Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

THE SENTENCE AGAINTS ALL EVIL WORKS IS NOT EXECUTED SPEEDILY.therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

evil doers are still continously doing evil things because the sentence for their evil works is not executed right away. people ABUSED God's justice and take advantage the time to do evil.

now are you still going to blame God for all the injustices and evil things that is happening on earth? if God is not good, THERE IS NO ATHEISTS. ALL of you will be eradicate but why is it that you are still able and continously say things againts God?

answer: it is because :

THE SENTENCE AGAINTS ALL EVIL WORKS IS NOT EXECUTED SPEEDILY.therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

thanks for giving time for this important issue. i hope with God's help i can answer all these questions above.

you said: the creation and unleashing of an equally eternal and equally powerful 'devil" and the creation of a savage torture chamber as hell for the purpose to eternally deep-fry most of the human race, by an omniscient, omnipotent and omnibenevolent God is an act of perpetual and highest evil in and of itself!!

- the creation of hell is not evil thing. it is God's justice. placing evil people in hell is right for them. it is just. actually God is not lacking of reminders and warning to all people to avoid evil because He does not want injustices. God warn us to prevent doing evil things and stop doing injustices to each other because it is evil. inspite of God's effort to teach people to do not do evil, they still do evil. like you, God is warning you to avoid saying things againts Him but you atheists are still doing it, now, when the judgement day came, are you going to blame God? God is God, you are just His creation. who are you to question your creator? are you better than God? can you do that to your typical father? if you respect your father or if your father deserve respect the more respect you should give to the creator.

doing justice is not a sin. it is not evil. it is JUSTICE. placing satan in hell is just. putting serial rapists and serial killers and murderrers, adulterers, liers, evil pastors, priests that implemented the holy inquisition, the person behind the chemical gas happened in syria and all those evil doers is JUSTICE for those people who received INJUSTICES.

JUSTICE IS NOT A EVIL. IT IS JUST.

- this is my answer to you,

let us read,

Isaiah 57:1 The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

merciful men are taken away, the righteous is taken away from the evil to come. God sometimes permitted someone to be killed, passed away, etc. because God is taking Him away from the evil to come. what matters most with God is our souls. this is one of God's way in saving people. it does not matter if his people died in flesh because God has the capacity to give it back to him.

actually babes are blessed because imagine they will go to heaven without doing anything. that is good.

God did not know on the onset that satan is going to rebel againts Him. actually satan was a perfect angel before he became evil.
let us read,

Ezekiel 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

do not blame God. God is good. you just do not understand it.

For me, bible is worse than the worst sacred literature that savage priests ever devised. At any given time I would infinitely prefer even the Zendt Avesta of Zoroastrianism over bible. And I am sure that you do not believe the claims of Zendt Avesta or of the Vedas only because YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND THESE BOOKS, AND HAD YOU HAD BRAIN ENOUGH YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN EITHER A ZOROASTRIAN OR A HINDU.

I am happy enough that all my arguments above has remained unanswered yet. If "circular reasoning", that you attempted vaguely above, could answer arguments, there would have been no other religion today except sun-worshiping - the mother of all religion. Quoting ancient ignorance is too easy. If you need, I could trump you with 10 equally substantiated verses on the same subjects from the Hindu Vedas against 01 of the every verse that you quoted from bible. But I do not find it intelligible to speak through ancient ignorance. I have advanced enough to learn better. Whenever a man tries to answer my arguments by quoting dead ignorance as the bible, I instantly know that that man has exhausted all of whatever little knowledge he had of value. I cease to take such men seriously anymore therefore.

And please let it be known, that my problems are not with the parts that I DO NOT understand in the bible, my problems rather are the parts that I DO understand of that book. So much so, I even insist that whoever reads and understands the bible without prejudice and without fear, will cease to be a believer in it. In terms of the lack of intellectual rigor, there couldn't be anything worst than the bible. Asking me to believe the bible by quoting few forged verses from that same bible as proof of its truth, is no less foul than asking me to defend myself from an approaching hungry and man-eating tiger by reciting poetry from Shakespeare.

why not show me the verses in vedas so that we can put that into a test? let us authenticate vedas or the Zoroastrianism faith that you introducing?

- why not show me the verses from your Hindu Vedas? let us see it has the capacity to destroy the wisdom in the bible. i bet. not a bit.

the bible does not force anybody to believe in it. but there is one thing that is inevitable and that is THE BIBLE IS AUTHENTIC AND VERY SCEINTIFIC.

That's an excellent question. As the bible tells us, "the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one."(rev 12:9) to find out the reason why there is so much suffering, and when it will end, follow this link:

Using a Illustration: If someone made a charge before the whole community that you abused your position as a Father, that your children would be better off if they made their decisions
independent of you, and that all of them obeyed you, not because of love, but because of material benefits you provided, what would be the best way to settle the matter?? Would shooting the false accuser put the charged to rest in the minds of the community??
Instead, what a fine answer it would be if you have your children opportunity to be your witness to show that you are a just and living father and that they live with you because they love you! If some of your children believed your adversary, left home, and ruined their lives by adopting others life-styles, it would only make honest observers realize that the children would have been better off if they had heeded your direction. If we are parents, which makes us happier--- when our children obey us because they Love us or when we make them do it?? Should God have forced Adam an Eve to be obedient?? Would we really be happier if we lived in a world where we where forced to obey God?? Before destroying this wicked system, God is allowing opportunity for people to demonstrate whether they really want to live in harmony with his righteous laws or not. At his appointed time, he will destroy the wicked.---"He isn't really being slow about his promised return, even though it sometimes seems that way. But he is waiting, for the good reason that he is not willing that any should perish, and he is giving more time for sinners to repent." ( 2 Peter 3:9) Living Bible For thousands of years people have blamed him, even cursed him, for the bad conditions they have endured. Yet, these are caused, not by him, but by Satan. If you want to blame any one , blame Satan. and wicked men.
He is the ruler of this world (1 John 5:19) But the blame where it should be, he is the cause for all this suffering.

Im not going to tell you to believe in God or not. I am a Sunday school teacher and i question why are some hit harder than others? why is my suffering so hard to deal with? Have you heard the story of Job a man of God who lost everything-God, however, told Satan that you cannot touch Job's soul. I cannot understand the Lords ways, all i can tell you is that when the day is done-in a world so vain and cruel-the only peace i recieve is from God who is not of this world
