How to tame my feral kitten?
So I went to my friend's house wanting to catch a feral kitten. There are both feral and non-feral cats there. I used a carrier and wet food with a rope tied to the door. I caught one. There is about 4 or 5 kittens and I have seen the mama too. I am hoping to tame the kitten and give it a home. I have already named it Ferrah. I am hoping to catch a sibling so it can be more comfortable. They are about 1 1/2 months old so they are old enough to eat dry kitten food. I just need to know how I can tame her and what to do next. My friend has her in the house in the carrier. Do I let her out or keep her in it. She was hissing and trying to scratch us when she was in the cage. But I think we have a chance because other than hissing, spatting, and clawing, I could look at her through the door and put my finger in it without any reaction. I even got to barely touch her fur without a reaction. She was even, at times, eating the food when she was in the carrier while the carrier was being held up off the ground. There are house cats that arent outdoor in the living room were Farrah is. I even saw some jealousy from one curious cat, Binky, who was "hugging" the carrier and hissing.
