Should my fiancé keep paying his 24 year old daughter's car payment while she is in college to get her second degree?
My fiancé has 3 daughters with his ex wife and one son (ours together) who is 2. He still pays child support for his daughters ages 14, 21 and 24. He put his oldest daughter through college and she graduated last year with her Bachelor's degree. She has decided to continue school but now to obtain a Bachelor's degree in nursing. She recently moved in with a family member that works at the college and gets free tuition. My fiancé is continuing to pay her car payment of $400 per month, which we CANNOT afford. She works part time. His 21 year old daughter works full time, attends community college and still lives at home but is paying her own car payment. My fiancé also pays half of anything extra they need at times, He pays child support for our son but has been short on that recently. He says his oldest is paying for gas and medical bills she has and that she will "take care of him" in his old age and that he has told her to refinance the car by December but he has given her time limits in the past yet he (and her mom) continues to pay for her expenses.
