how do hidden viruses differ from active viruses
The difference between active and hidden viruses is in the presentation of symptoms in the host. An active virus immediately affects the host cells and causes symptoms. A hidden virus becomes part of the host cell and lays dormant until the host weakens. When the host weakens, the virus then will manifest itself. So, active viruses attack right away. Hidden viruses can wait for long periods of time.
