Why the waves produced by a simple pendulum not heard?

Report as

Waves produced by a simple pendulum are not heard because they vibrate but don't produce sound. The lowest frequencies a human can hear are about 20 Hz - 20 vbs (vibrations per second). If, for instance, the pendulum moves back and forward once per second, it will generate sound at that frequency, which typically we can't hear.
