Would this taste gross?

Unfortunately, I'm out of greek yogurt. Would a smoothie with just milk and frozen fruit taste bad?

Nope! You may want to add a little sugar to sweeten or some cream cheese or sour cream to thicken it, though. :) It may sound gross, but it actually isn't that bad- especially the sour cream. Sour cream is sooo versatile.

No, just add ice... No need for added sugar... Blender your ingredients and enjoy!

Thanks! I don't think the ice is needed if the fruit is frozen though.

You're welcome... I hope it was fruity tasty...

I suggested some ice because sometimes the milk softens the frozenness of the fruit a little bit...

I make my smoothies with frozen fruit and milk. I use non-fat milk, and a little non-fat half-and-half for creaminess. I like to put in a little Equal and a few drops of vanilla extract.

I've done it with strawberries or bananas (or both) with regular milk, a dollop of vanilla and sugar or sweetener added to make it the sweetness you like.
If you like the Greek yogurt kind of tang, though, make it 1/2 to 2/3 sour cream and the rest regular milk and add fruit/vanilla/sweetener to taste.
If you add too much straight sour cream, it sometimes gets too thick.
