Why did the Islam terrorists kill 68 people in Kenya and why did they insist on killing non-muslims?

Report as

I hear your anguish. it would appear Islam has decided to oppose the West now that worldwide Communism has failed as an ideology. I suspect we will have to battle Islamic terrorism (make no mistake, it is only Islamic in a loose sense) for decades. But the end is clear: terrorism has never done anything except impoverish the people committing it.
Kenya is on the sub-Saharan border; north, it's largely Islamic, south, primarily Christian. This is apparently the tactic you will see more of: attacking shopping malls where westerners congregate.

May be for the equally "noble" reasons why Christian terrorist Anders Behring Breivik killed the civilian population and a Workers' Youth League (AUF)-run summer camp in Norway on 22 July 2011, claiming a total of 77 lives, citing Christianity as a justification in his murderous attacks. He plead that being non-Christians those humans were offending his Christian values and thereby they were not eligible to live in the Christian world.

May be for the same reasons why Christian terrorist bomb the abortion clinics and kill many people; or, why Christian terrorist killed 600,000 Jews in Holocaust and threatened to have killed more if Hitler didn't fall!!

You see, it is too witless to cast stones sitting inside a glasshouse, or that when you spit facing upwards, the spit is bound to fall nowhere but over your own face!

Breivik was diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic or a personality disorder. He described his far-right militant ideology in a compendium of texts entitled 2083: A European Declaration of Independence, which he distributed electronically on the day of the attacks. In it he lays out his worldview, which includes Islamophobia, support of "far-right Zionism" and opposition to feminism. It regards Islam and Cultural Marxism as "the enemy", and argues for the violent annihilation of "Eurabia" and multiculturalism, and the deportation of all Muslims from Europe based on the model of the Benes decrees. It wasn't Christian, it was a product of his sick, twisted imagination; he was a lone attacker, not a terrorist cell. Breivik wrote that his main motive for the atrocities was to market his manifesto. It wasn't inspired by faith, but by his sick mind. Two teams of court-appointed psychiatrists examined Breivik prior to his trial; in the first report Breivik was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia, and a second evaluation was commissioned following widespread criticism of the first report. The second psychiatric evaluation was published one week before the trial, concluding that Breivik was not psychotic during the attacks nor during the evaluation; he was diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder. Whichever it was, it's moot: his brain is the source of this, not religion.
On 24 August 2012, Oslo District Court found Breivik sane and guilty of murdering 77 people. He was sentenced to 21 years of preventive detention, a special form of prison sentence, with a minimum of 10 years and the possibility of extension for as long as he is deemed a danger to society; he will likely remain in prison for life. This is the maximum penalty in Norway.

How inappropriate! Did you know they have American recruits also, in fact they think there's a few in this incident. What do you think of that?
Hate is hate no matter what religion, or lack there of, murderers have.

@Shinypate1: Let us see the inconsistencies purely from your own response above:

First you say "Breivik was a paranoid schizophrenic and mentally disordered". Then you go on to say "the second evaluation certified that he (Breivik) was not psychotic during the attack or during the evaluation". And at last you say "the district court found Breivik sane and guilty of murdering 77 people", which ultimately resulted in his conviction. Now I ask, were you clear to yourself about what you really intended to mean?

Now, let us venture a little further into that same post of yours. You say, "Breivik was a lone attacker, not a terrorist cell" (implying, probably, that a lone racist, when acting as a Christian, cannot justify be called terrorist)!! Are you saying that a lone terrorist cannot be termed as terrorist, or that the terms "terrorists/terrorism" or all derivatives of the word "terror" has been "grammatically patented and trademarked" for the use sole solely against Islam and Muslims (or, may be, on occasions such as Breivik's for Zionists)?

And not to mention that all your desperate attempts to hide the Christian identity and motive of Breivik would simply fall into pieces to anyone who takes a little interest to investigate the subject. Even the Wikipedia page on this issue is as evident as the sun to learn that Breivik was, and still is, a professing Christian, that his self-preached "manifesto" was Christianly inspired, and that his Oslo massacre had a Christian motive.

Now, with all that I pointed above, is not your bious for your own faith and your prejudice against Muslim faith is too obvious? Do you really intend with such spirit to be taken seriously as an impartial judge on such issues? Well, if you do, then you can, at least, always count on me to be on the opposite camp.

Pious you are truly fooled by satans trickery. What a well laid plan making his people claim to be Christian and go against everything Christ stood and died for to turn people away from Him. You sound like an intelligent person yet can't see the truth for what it is.
Report as
First, he was found mentally disordered (a personality disorder can have psychotic aspects; in psychology, a personality is a bit less severe than a psychosis, but not as severe as depression or mania). Both exams. The diagnosis may be different, but they both found mental disorder.
Second, my point is that mental disorder tends to be a singular and solitary event. The person inhabits a delusion and acts from it. This is not what Islamic terrorists are doing; they have a specific religious justification for it. You don't find Christian religion justifying terrorism, which is why we don't see western democracies (mostly Christian) fomenting terrorism. That's my point: you blamed Christianity unfairly, when a more fair assessment would be Brevik was bat crap crazy.
Report as
"You don't find Christian religion justifying terrorism;" I think you will find Breivik demonstrating this to be false.

Report as
@Summer_Breeze: Your entire (non)reasoning is based upon false premises, honey. But tell you what, when I read Christians like you trying to palm off excuses for the failures of their God by making Satan a "man of straw", I cannot but repeat this line from Heine: "Christ rode on an ass, but now asses ride on Christ".

I believe that your God is "NOT the truth", nor that "I am fooled by your Satanic Majesty", I rather think that it is awfully arrogant of you to say something like that. To me, disputing your superstitions and showing them to be false rather "IS turning people towards the truth". And please try to be civilized enough to learn that if you will claim that you have evidence for your particular God, that only your religion is revealed, and if I dispute that, it is not because "I have been fooled by Satan's trickery", nor to "turn people away from what your God stood and died for", but because I am honestly convicted that your claims are not true. If you have the rights to preach in public, if you hold liberty to be dangerous, if you aver that to disagree with your "particular" superstition is a crime, then I will oppose you one and all, because we cannot afford another "Christian Dark Age".

Of course, you will desperately cling to Satan, because the sum total of your faith is to have all your sins charged to Satan, and at the same time to be credited with all the virtues of Christ. Without Satan the fall of man is a lie, the atonement an monstrousity, the "Scheme of Salvation" is false and Christ was either ignorant, insane or impostor. Without Satan hell becomes only ravings and revenge of maniacs. Somebody, I understand, has to father the blunders and failures of your God. Somebody has to be responsible for the evils, pains, and cruelties. Satan is the "scapegoat of your God. Beneath the DRAMA called "Christianity" there are four corners tones -- the Father, the Son, the Holy Ghost and the Satan.

But let me ask you: Why did God create Lucifer, knowing that for him he would create the eternal furnace, to burn almost all human? Does your God want his children misled and corrupted so that he can have the pleasure of frying them forever? Why did your God curse man with toil, and woman with pain of maternity, for the crimes of Satan? How any moral man can worship -- how any good women can love, this God, is beyond my imagination!

I do not pretend to know all, but I do know that you do not know. Listen to your heart, believe what it says, and wait with patience and without fear for what the future has for mankind if your God really exist. If you can give men no comfort from what you know, please stop driving to despair by what you do not know.

Show me his quote saying his religion drives him to this. I will ask his pastor if this represents the teaching of his church. If it does, you win. If it doesn't, I win.
Delusions are not religion, they are mental disorders.

First, I have not such childish spirit to engage in a debate only for the purpose to win or to loose. I have nothing to prove to anyone. All I intend for is to exchange ideas, and learn as I go. I feel there can be no greater charity than to destroy the falsehoods and establish the truths.

But I accept your offer. Not to prove me the winner, but to prove that you argue mostly from passion, instead of reason, and that your motive is mostly guided by faith, instead of fact. So bear with me please.

## Apart from his Facebook profile, his Twitter posts, and various other forums, where Breivik described himself as a "Conservative Christian", the most explicit evidences of his Christian identity and motive are in his 1,500-page manifesto. It reads:

## "At 15 I chose to be baptised, and confirmed", followed by this "inspired confession of faith": "I consider myself to be 100 PERCENT CHRISTIAN", and "a modern-day CRUSADER...hoping to suffer the GLORY of CHRISTIAN MARTYRDOM IN THE PROCESS". He went on to affirm his Christian MOTIVE, saying: "Thor's Hammer cannot unify the people of Europe, but the Christian Cross will". In a 2009 social blog post, Breivik wrote "I support an indirect collective conversion of the Protestant churches back to Catholic". In that same manifesto Breivik refers three times to the "LORD JESUS CHRIST", and that "he planned TO PRAY TO GOD SEEKING FOR HELP DURING HIS ATTACKS".

## Immediately after Breivik's arrest, the Deputy Police Chief Roger Andresen confirmed reporters that: "information on Breivik's websites was Christian fundamentalist".

## Apart from his racist manifesto, Breivik confessed during formal interrogation, that he was a member of an revived "International CHRISTIAN MILITARY Order", describing it as "Pauperes commilitones Christi Templique Solomonici (PCCTS, Knights Templar)".

## Breivik chose July 22 for initiating his form of CHRISTIAN CRUSADE, because on the same day (July 22) in 1099 AD the so-called "Kingdom of Jerusalem" was re-established during the FIRST CRUSADE.

And I can go on and on. But I feel that to weigh the above references and still pretend that Breivik did not self-identify himself as a Christian would simply be deliberately dishonest. Any man, who has honestly investigated the Breivik files without prejudice, and still deny that Breivik was a Christian, is as thoroughly despicable and hypocritical as to insist that Osama Bin Laden was not a Muslim. Such men cannot be relied upon anything that conflicts their self-interest!!

" If we will not convert ... We die "

This sentence is against Islamic teachings ...

( 256 ) There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing. Quran (2:256)

Convert or die ... That is what Christians do ... especially what they had done in Al-Andalus (Spain )

And by the way : Killing a decrepit old man, or a young infant, or a child, or a woman is Harram (forbidden ) in Islam ...

@bettyeckles: I cannot see how these Muslims are even an atom worse than the Christians, who say: "my way" or "hell way"!! This terrible belief has been a perpetual enemy of mankind for the last 2000 year's. Wherever man has suffered, whenever innocent blood was shed, for the first 1800 years since Christ, the cross and the sword were allies, and the robs of the Christians and the priests were red in innocent blood. With the soul of snakes and heart of hyenas Christian exterminated not only non-Christians but also other Christians who sincerely differed with the smallest point of the creed that was in power. The toleration of Christians has only increased where the cross has lost its might and where men could no more be deceived. When Christians denounce religious intoleration today, it makes them look even worse than those Christians who perpetrated those infamies.

And I believe every honest student of religious history, except may be the Christians, know that no other religion has been spread through the point of swords, through brutality, through cruelty and through faggots and flames and through malice than Christianity. After all, no other religion established a "Religious Dark Age" ever, except Christianity, you know!
Report as
THATS THE POINT!! They are no more killing for ALLAH then Christians are for GOD! They are doing satans work and people fall for it. What a very tricky way to spread hate towards all who believe in God, Allah or Christ. Why can't people see this?
Report as
It has nothing to do with hating people, and everything to do with the fact that these people are actually following proscriptions written in their sacred texts- YOUR sacred texts.

There is also the fact that Christians keep scapegoating- blaming everything on "satan" instead of having personal accountability, and pretending that anyone who does something that embarrasses your religion isn't REALLY a part of it.

Otherwise this God will loose his subscription even in the last place that he barely exists today -- in the minds of believers!

They are great warriors, they attack unarmed women and Children, with no thought for their own safety. All mass murderers are like that, their bravery astounds me. There is no hell waiting for all of us, we create our own personal one as we live. And it's not based on belief,it's on deed. Murder on that level is wrong, there are no reasons to justify it. And no God will tolerate it.

You must be a Christian? Otherwise no one can "love their enemies" so much as you did above!! It is surprising how any Christian can have the hypocrisy to point out the intolerance of others faith, when his own religious history of any given 10 years is more than enough to put a blush of shame compared to the combined infamy of all religion together for the last 2000 years!

But, that's ok. I understand the limitations of Christians like you. It must be because, I am sure, your mommy forgelot to tell you the true Christian history while indoctrinating you, did not she?

@jcambell, When people use words like "Islamists", it just shows how little they know about Islam, considering "Islamists" isn't even a word. Therefore, I think you should study about Islam before making false accusation and just believing every single thing you hear. There is a huge difference between being a Muslim, and being a terrorist. Islam FORBIDS terrorism. Some Muslims happen to be terrorists. Islam cannot be blamed for their actions.

Fyi, Muslims are followers of Islam.
