How do I find the volume of an object using a graduated cylinder, without the displacement method?

Again, WITHOUT displacement, but still using a graduated cylinder.

You cannot be able to find the volume of an object using a graduated cylinder without the displacement method. This is the valid method used if accuracy is to be found. It involves recording the volume of the liquid before object is submerged and the new volume after being submerged. However, if it is a regular object, you can try using the formula for calculating their volumes, like length*width*height for a cuboid.

I'm aware of those ways, and I agree, it doesn't seem possible. But it is what my teacher put on the assignment. Weird, huh?
