How to make my plushie smell good again?

(God this sounds childish) I have this plush that I sleep with every night, it is pretty much necessary for a good nights sleep for me. Thing is though that I have been sleeping with this plush for, gosh, 5- 7 years now? and it's still fluffy and all but it's starting to smell bad, I was wondering how I could make it smell good again? (I live in Norway so I don't have too many resources like I would have had if I lived in America)

You need to clean the plushie with rubbing alcohol and normal detergent. You can also machine wash it if the instruction on the plushie allows that. Ensure that you do not keep it without cleaning for a long time to avoid the bad smell. Get more tips on http://www.squidoo.com/CleaningPlushStuffedToys.

Wash it under the gentle cycle in your washing machine with a mild detergent. A quick trick is, place it in a gallon Ziploc bag and place in the freezer for 24 hours. Bacteria is the typical cause of anything smelling bad. Freezing something for long enough kills most bacterias. This also works great with hats and flip flops.
