What do i mix baking soda with to put in my hair to get chlorine out?

The other day i went to get my hair cut and my hair dresser said that my hair was rough, dry and kinda "sticky" so i told her that i go swimming a lot and she said try using baking soda. BUT i cant remember was she said to mix it in with! Can i just mix it in with my shampoo? Please help. P.S i don't want to use vinegar! Thanks

They make swimmer's shampoos. My favorite is L'Oreal children's swim and sport shampoo. Even though they say 2 in 1, I use conditioner anyway.

wiki how says the baking soda mix is just baking soda and water. Another piece of advice they give is lemonade powder... when I was little we put lemon juice in our shampoo. I thought it was to try and create streaks in our hair, but maybe it was actually for the chlorine. I don't know.

Well if you don't want to use vinegar, try lemon juice or citric acid. Acidity cleans residue off your hair.

When I was in school I was on the swim team and I dye my hair every one or two months. My hair always turned green. My mom used baking soda and SAMs cola (: it worked
