I slept through most of my labor courtesy of my epidural. And I am so thankful, before I got it I was throwing up it hurt so bad. Don't know if it's an old wive's tale or not but I have been told after getting one you are more prone to headaches and migraines because the drugs stay in your spinal fluid the rest of your life. I personally believe I have more headaches because I now have a child haha
