There's no way to really target a specific area, contrary to popular belief. Your body will loose the weight from where it want to, it's all genetics. I recommend that you go on runs for cardio and then try some core workouts for toning. This way, you're losing some fat and toning the muscles underneath.

Eat healthy small portions often throughout the day. Try out the phone app "MapMyRun" I just started using that. You can punch in what foods you eat and it'll give you the amount of calories you consumed and how many you have left for the day. It'll also GPS track your runs and tell you how far you ran and how fast and how many calories you burned off.

Workouts for abs: Crunches, leg lifts, planks, bicycle, toe touches, superman, crossover, sit ups, etc.

Remember to be patient. Don't expect it to happen in a month. Keeping going at it and working hard, stay motivated. You may not see any results for a few weeks.

Not necessarily, if you only work your abs you will get a toner stomach then if you work just your legs or something, your legs will strengthen

Yes, you can target MUSCLE growth. But you can't target where you loose fat.

None...abs are made in the kitchen not the gym! Exercising is only a small part if havin "6-pack abs"...but do crunches, leg lifts , Russian twists and stuff like that to tone...running/jogging will help burn fat

I flat stomach won't happen in a months time. It entails burning calories through cardio, weight training to build muscle, and eating right. As a Vancouver sports therapist I see a lot of people come in with low back pain due to a weak core. Building the strength and working your core from all angles won't only help you achieve your fitness goals but it will ward off injury and future back issues. You cannot reduce fat in a certain area. However, you can tighten the muscles under the skin and fat by doing russian twists, crunches, reverse crunches, and leg lifts. To lose fat all over, eating healthy, doing cardio, and even lifting weights can help.

There are certain workouts for certain parts of your body. If you want to get strong abs and a flat tummy, do sit-ups. If you want to get in better cardiovascular shape and get a flat tummy, try running.

Push ups worked for me, 50 push-ups a day with a 10 second break at each 10 each day. 50 sit-ups same as push-ups way. The wheel thingy, forgot what it's call, do 20 stretches to ur max and have a 1 minute break at each 20 for 3 times. Last one is, lay down on flat, fla surface and carry your legs up straight with your STOMACH, it will hurt, do 10 seconds for the first time and add 5 seconds to each other times. This process will be hard.

Crunches help really well. P90X has a disk included called Ab Ripper X, it is very intense, but it helps really good. I would suggest looking online or on youtube for some workout suggestion.

For flatter and tighter ab muscles you have to do exercise and also consume carb free diet.

Slightly increase protein in your diet, which could make ab muscles grow fast.

crunches are important, swimming is the best way to get ab muscles without any core exercise.

Regular 1 hour of swimming will make your way.
