A squirrel is the one that eats peanuts and leaves shells in the installation within the wall. It eats and leaves the shells because it cannot be able to digest these shells. The peanuts are also very good in that they contain several efficient nutrients.

Mice, rats, squirrels, any small rodent! Can you see any droppings? If there's any source or small openings they will get in & most of the time you will see droppings. They can do a lot of damage, call an exterminator/pest control to get rid or to catch the rodent.
