Why do I sweat so much?

I'm sorry that this might be a gross question but I've been dealing with this forever and I'm trying to make it stop. I seem to sweat a lot, even when I'm not in the hot weather, and even when I'm not exercising. I sweat underneath my arms when I'm just sitting there. It's gross, and not the prettiest thing.. What should I do?

It can be caused by being overweight: your body has all of that extra "insulation" so naturally it's going to try to cool itself.

It can also be genetic or hyperhidrosis. Talk to your doctor about prescription strength antiperspirant.

I'm not overweight, I'm a little lighter than I should be..

Okay well then talk to your doctor. It's probably genetic and there's not much you can do about it.

Get clothes that doesn't show the sweat marks. Like those sport shirts.
Sweating is actually very healthy. But that won't help you in your daily life. You can get your body checked for your fat ratio. If that is an issue, low fat makes less sweat. Also don't eat sugary food. It will increase your blood pressure which increase the sweating.
