Does having sex push back your period cycle? How long, if so?

p.s I'm 5 days late and I took 2 pregnancy tests this month but both come out negative. How long should I wait to take my next pregnancy test?

Yes, sexual activity can alter your hormone balances & levels enough to change your cycle periods. (Speed them up or slow them down.) Perfectly normal & often good for your body & mind. But it also means you have to be extra mindful now about preventing unplanned pregnancies. Your body's cycle signals are no longer reliable, as you may be experiencing.

Having sex does not affect your cycle very much (unless it's all new to you) .. and of course, unless you get pregnant. Home pregnancy tests are notorious for giving false readings.
