How effective is plan b after a condom breaks? (also on oral birth control)
Plan B is very effective. It's just like your oral contraception - a big dose of hormones to prevent the fertilized egg from attaching. BUT it will not terminate the pregnancy if the egg has already attached.
plan B are pills... and are really effective. But they need to be used short after the "accident"
Plan B is not that effective at all. I've heard some reviews from women who had taken it soon after they had sex and said that they have still ended up pregnant a few weeks after they took it. Here's one review (not one of the reviews that I mentioned):http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=140121863&page=1
Plan B is very effective, but nothing is perfect. Best solution for you is probably to discuss different options with your doctor.
Lets not forget the fact that condoms (even if they don't break) are not 100% effective.
Taken within 72 hours along with being on BC pills you probably aren't pregnant. Always a chance tho.
Just use condom correctly, you won't get pregnant. I'm saying this for anyone reading, not you specifically.
