How do I get all my songs from my old Ipod Touch to my new one?

My old IPod was 4generation, so I backed it up through Icloud, my new Ipod Touch 5 has all my settings but NONE of my downloaded songs. How do I get them back?

READ THIS ALL BEFORE TRYING: FIRST- There are multiple ways to do this... The easiest way is to factory reset the I Pod touch 5 to factory settings. To do this, turn it completely off and once it's off press and hold the lock button and the home button. DO NOT LET GO until you see the iTunes logo on your screen. plug it in. Then once you plug it in a screen will come up with a reset button. Hit that and wait a few min. until it resets. Once it resets go to the restore previous back up and click on that. It should also take a few min. THIS SHOULD BE THE BACKUP FROM THE IPOD 4.

ANOTHER WAY OF DOING THIS IS-- Go to your library, click on music and then click on artists. when the load up click and hold on the album you want on your IPOD then drag it to the toolbar that pops up in the slot that has the name of you ipod. Do this for all the artists and albums/songs you want

The only problem with that theory is that apple disabled that feature to prevent pirating so even if you wanted to you couldn't
