Yes it can. Depending on what the charge is and it's severity it can be a problem when applying for a job. Most positions available, especially dealing with the exchange of money (such as retail or food service) will require a background check to be sure you do not have any felonies or open warrants. Depending on the job you are applying for it may not be an issue, however. My advice to you is to clear up your court issues before applying for a position anywhere.
