Should "satirical" news organizations (The Onion, The National Report, etc. ) be required to provide a disclaimer to that effect?
America has been described as a nation that defies satire. In any case, it is evident that a great many Americans just don't "get it". They believe whatever supports/confirms their pre-existing beliefs, no matter how unlikely, without a moments reflection or minimal research, and then repeat it as if it were gospel. Like National Muslim Appreciation Month, for example.
