For my 1year anniversary with my boyfriend I want to make him a romantic dinner. What are some things I could do to make it really romantic and special? He's 18

How about picking a theme. A romantic theme out of a movie you both like. Dress in the time frame the movie is set. Definitely make food for the setting. Let's say Italian. Make pasta and red candles and a flowing dress.. Wear make-up to fit the mood. Have a nice fragrance throughout the room. Have the table set with a table cloth and flowers as a center piece. Try to pick the music for the dinner. Always make desert the main event. Everyone loves sweets! Good Luck and Have fun.

Pasta is the number 1 choice. Any kind will do. For dessert, strawberries with ice cream and chocolate syrup.

A candlelit dinner outside at night and stagazing... make something simple, and not messy or sloppy. Make something like chicken with something other than mashed potatoes. Also, don't worry about dressing up too much since you'll be outside. Wear a summer dress and some sandals (Unless it's cold) and lay down a soft, warm blanket next to a tree and light at least four candles. Good luck and have fun! Happy Anniversary even though you're not married. He he. :)

well if it's your anniversary, make HIM take YOU out. you want him to know that he is celebrating you, still being with him; not you're SO glad you could catch him, and you're good enough for him. if I were you, don't make him food, make him get you food, and if he's not like the guy I talked about before, show him how much you care with a full course meal, and make it fancy-not simple-cook
-best wishes

Fondue. Simple prep for meats, fruits, bread cubes - all can be done in advance so you can be a 'guest', too. This is about both of you having a nice time. Light chill on a red wine (many good choices under $10 at Trader Joe's or Costco) Remember to create/melt the fondue on the stove and then put into the fondue pot to keep melted over the sterno. Crisp chilled fruit for dessert, like grapes or strawberries. You should not put yourself under stress over this. Enjoy! and happy anniversary to BOTH of you.
