2004 grand prix no power steering and overheating

Report as

You need to have your manifold intake gaskets changed since these are what cause the overheating. Most of the times, you will find that the Dexcool antifree causes the overheating in old gaskets thus you need to get modern gaskets. The process of replacing them is available on http://www.allpar.com/fix/gasket35.html.

umm, have you checked your serpentine belt? i think its time to get a new one, the old one's probably in shards somewhere on a highway.

I'm with classicchevy, overheating and power steering loss sounds like the serpentine belt went.
