Is drinking a little bit of wine easy to put the baby to sleep so you can sleep better I'm scared to do it

Little bit of wine good for the baby to sleep?

Report as

It is absolutely NEVER okay to give a baby alcohol to ease sleeping, or to consume alcohol to aid your sleeping while pregnant. The long list of problems that could occur can't be typed here in so small a space, but picture this- you wake up to get ready for work in the morning, go to check on your child, and they're cold and blue. Dead. Asphyxiated on their own fluids, or poisoned because their tiny livers couldn't handle the strain- any number of problems could caused this. Do you want to live with that over your head? More importantly, do you want your child to die? I think a night of your comfort is a fine sacrifice for the life of another human being. You'll survive- they might not.

It depends. Do you want to have an infant that has brain damage?

Their livers are brand new and very tiny. Please don't risk permanent organ damage for this. Pacifiers, baby swing, even letting baby cry for a while. Ask baby's pediatrician for tips too

Abosutely not!! That'd be child abuse!! Don't do it. Your baby's brain has a lot of developing left to do and giving them wine can screw their head up!!

Wine contain alcohol. Alcohol itself is actually poisonous but since wine contain an extremely low in percentage of it, the poison is not there. Yet, for a baby to drink wine, you must be out of your mind for thinking of that. Guess your baby is very young and cried a lot in order to drove you to such thoughts. Nevertheless, alcohol is always a no-no for baby even if it is a little. Why asking it when the answer is so obvious?

Why are people so ignorant these days? You honestly think it might be ok to give an infant alcohol?Babies aren't even supposed to have most juices at that age. There has been scientific studies that show a persons body can't handle alcohol till they are at least 21.

You cannot give a baby alcohol so you can have a good night sleep. It will get better once they are a little older but no alcohol until they turn 21.

If you think alcohol is a great sleeping method for a baby you might need to rethink your parenting skills and take some lessons in parenting so you would better understand. I'm scared when I hear things like this.
