Why would anyone be against National Healthcare for our country?
First of all, I completely agree that certain things in Affordable Care Act should be reviewed and possibly changed. Although, the point I'm trying to make is that with so many people losing their homes and/or savings due to Cancer or other serious illnesses to themselves or their children, or just simply being denied care which is inevitably leaving people to just die. How could a reasonably intelligent person be against Universal Healthcare? How can you truly put a monetary value on a persons life? I find it absurd that, we as a nation, have the right to paved roads. Yet, when it comes to our health and wellness, we are an "everybody for yourself" type of Nation. Outside of food and water, healthcare is unquestionably the most important thing in life. Yet, people dismiss it as a nonessential commodity. If it were up to me and I had to choose. I would drive on dirt roads in exchange for a healthy life. Or in some circumstances, just Life!
