There's always a risk with any online dating site. YOU make it safe by being smart. Never meet the person at your home, always meet in a busy public place and don't let them take you or follow you home. Don't give out much personal info, like phone numbers or addresses, until you've gone on several dates and have gotten to know them IRL. If you're nervous about meeting them one on one, consider inviting them to a group activity with friends.
I didn't have issues just make sure you download a background app too so you can run checks on everyone. I don't know about your phone but with iPhone if you have the person phone number my phone will sync the number then pull us FB profile which is how I generally find out who the person really is then I run the check. Be careful and don't believe everything someone tells you. Good luck!
What do you mean "SAFE"? You can date from ever you want. Facebook etc. I have signed in match.com few days ago. And i immediately DELETED my account! I answer 200 questions about my self and how i want my date to be, and after all that they wouldn't let me even see who is viewing my profile! The wouldn't let me see my emails, my views and who is interested in me unless i pay the monthly subscription!!! So i don't want to waste my money on those stupid sites! My suggestion: "Get out of your apartment and go find your soul mate! She/He is out there and waiting for you!" You just have and do your move!!!
There is no online dating site that is exempt from the dangers of online dating. They are all equally dangerous in my eyes. I have heard that match.com is better than others, although, anytime you choose to speak to strangers online you are putting yourself at risk. Never give out any personal information. Go experience the world for yourself. Not with a computer.
You never know what ur getting when u online date.. People say one thing or look different than you've seen in pics.. They made a whole show about it "Catfish" so just be safe and know what ur getting into
