Today it is Yosemite National Park's Birthday, right after the government shut down, causing other parks to go out of business.

what will Yosemite do- keep the park open, close it, or something else?

The National Parks will not be out of business.
They will be closed until the government gets their act together and quits bickering.
The people who suffer are the 800,000 + workers who are not being paid from today until they get it together. This includes all park rangers and service workers for the parks. The park will reopen when the government settles their squabble.

People who have saved their hard earned money and have had reservations for months and years (some of the campground reservations are taken years in advance and people are on waiting lists to get in) for vacations have to make new plans.

I myself have reservations for YNP at Christmas. I will be very unhappy if I must change my plans ...... which were made last Christmas.

However....the main problem is the furloughed workers who have absolutely no money coming in. What are they to do?
