That is an achievable goal, advice would be:
* Use a BMI calculator to make sure your weight loss goal is healthy
* Improve diet quality - plenty of fruits, veg, whole-grains, lean protein, nuts and seeds, and low fat dairy. Avoid refined grains, fried foods, fatty proteins and sweets. Drink plenty of water but avoid sugar filled drinks
* Moderate your diet - eat modest portions (maybe get smaller plates/bowls), learn to only eat when you are physically hungry (rather than having cravings just in your mind) and learn to eat until you are no longer hungry rather than eating until you feel stuffed
* Get active - in your every day life (e.g. take the stairs, walk/bike all or part of the way to work/school, do active chores, walk the dog) and take up exercise (e.g. running, swimming, cycling) anything that gets you active - make sure it's fun!
* Monitor your progress - keep a food diary of what you are eating and portions (be honest!). Weigh yourself regularly (in the same way at the same time of day).
* Plan for the future - make sure the changes you make in your lifestyle and what you eat are sustainable so you can maintain your weight once you have reached your goal.
If you want it plain and simple just stay active and eat eggs chicken fish fruits veggies. almonds and avocado contain healthy fats so make sure to eat plenty of those things at night since during the day you will only be consuming protein. Just keep carbs out and stay active I lost 30 in 6 weeks doing this. I never watched my portions I ate as much as I wanted as long as it was in my meal plan.
You should try the Omni diet. I guarantee you will lose it in one or two months tops!! My friend could describe it better for you. Her name is Mary Oktavec Eller from Maryland.
