Put pressure on it to stop the bleeding. If you cut yourself shaving, or have a minor cut, a styptic pencil will help to stop the bleeding. If it's a bad cut, or for uncontrollable bleeding, get to the ER as soon as possible.
First thing cold water...let it run for a min or 3. Then pour some rubbing alchohol or peroxide on it....then put neosporin on a bandaid and then put that band aid on that cut and it will stop bleeding but expect pain for 4 days
Sommer, we are now encouraged to pitch the neosporin as the mersa infection thrives on neosporin. Mersa is very serious and if you get it, you must tell all the medical people as they will use extra precautionary treatment in your care.
