My boss is pressuring me to go back to work sooner than what my doctor advised on a work comp injury, what should I do?

Follow your doctors orders .. Do not return to your normal duties, because you will risk compromising your healing process...unless your boss can offer you modified tasks to do that will not compromise your condition.

Tell your boss that you have a doctor advised amount of time to be off the job. If he keeps pressuring you, you just have to tell him you can bring him to court for his harassment.

If you are out of work because of workman's comp, you need a lawyer. Your boss can not ask you to come back to work early. Also, if you make one mistake, you could lose everything even the medical coverage.

You could live to regret going back early. I believe you give up certain rights to future care related to that injury if you go back early.

Follow your doctor's orders. You do not have to give your boss any other reason than the doctor has not yet cleared you to go back.
