What are good questions for me to ask when applying for work at a caregiver service or facility for seniors?

If you're a person who will care for patients hands-on, you should ask what the patient to staff member ratio is. You could also ask if employees like you receive health benefits. You could look up the facility or service's rating on the internet.

Number of residents in total. How many you will be responsible for during the day. Total staffing levels throughout the facility. Shift hours. Any shift differential for 2nd or 3rd shifts.

And to blow their mind, ask "What makes this facility unique to work for?"
